The Duquesne Chess Team competes against other local chess clubs and Universities. Although not required, members of the club (regardless of their skill level) are encouraged to play for the team. We debuted in the 2009 PA Amateur Team Championship tying for 4th out of 9 teams. The highlights of the team's success includes 3 straight Pittsburgh Chess League Division II Champions (2012 to 2014) and back-to-back PA Collegiate Chess Champions (2013 and 2014).
